Genesis 44:17

17But he said, “Far be it from me that I should do so! Only the man in whose hand the cup was found shall be my servant. But as for you, go up in peace to your father.”

Genesis 44:33

33Now therefore, please let your servant remain instead of the boy as a servant to my lord, and let the boy go back with his brothers.

Exodus 22:3

3but if the sun has risen on him, there shall be bloodguilt for him. He shall surely pay. If he has nothing, then ahe shall be sold for his theft.

Matthew 18:24-25

A  talent was a monetary unit worth about twenty years’ wages for a laborer
25 eAnd since he could not pay, his master ordered him fto be sold, with his wife and gchildren and all that he had, and payment to be made.
