Genesis 45:11

11 aThere I will provide for you, for there are yet five years of famine to come, so that you and your household, and all that you have, do not come to poverty.’

Ruth 1:20-21

20She said to them, “Do not call me Naomi;
 Naomi means pleasant
call me cMara,
 Mara means bitter
for the Almighty has dealt very bitterly with me.
21 eI went away full, and the Lord has brought me back empty. Why call me Naomi, when the Lord has testified against me and the Almighty has brought calamity upon me?”

Elisha and the Shunammite Woman

8One day Elisha went on to kShunem, where a lwealthy woman lived, who urged him to eat some food. So whenever he passed that way, he would turn in there to eat food.

Job 1:10-17

10Have you not put ma hedge around him and his house and all that he has, on every side? You have nblessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. 11But ostretch out your hand and ptouch all that he has, and he will qcurse you rto your face.” 12And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your hand. Only against him do not stretch out your hand.” So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.

Satan Takes Job’s Property and Children

13Now there was a day when his sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother’s house, 14and there came a messenger to Job and said, “The oxen were plowing and the donkeys feeding beside them, 15and sthe Sabeans fell upon them and took them and struck down the servants

with the edge of the sword, and I alone have escaped to tell you.”
16While he was yet speaking, there came another and said, u“The fire of God fell from heaven and burned up the sheep and the servants and consumed them, and I alone have escaped to tell you.” 17While he was yet speaking, there came another and said, v“The Chaldeans formed wthree groups and made a raid on the camels and took them and struck down the servants with the edge of the sword, and I alone have escaped to tell you.”

Psalms 30:6-7

6 As for me, I said in my xprosperity,
“I shall never be ymoved.”
7By your favor, O Lord,
you made my zmountain stand strong;
you aahid your face;
I was abdismayed.
