Genesis 48:15-16
15And he blessed Joseph and said,“The God abefore whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked,
the God who has been my shepherd all my life long to this day,
16 bthe angel who has credeemed me from all evil, bless the boys;
and in them let dmy name be carried on, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac;
and let them egrow into a multitude ▼
▼Or let them be like fish for multitude
in the midst of the earth.”1 Samuel 7:12
12Then Samuel gtook a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen ▼▼Hebrew; Septuagint, Syriac Jeshanah
and called its name Ebenezer; ▼▼ Ebenezer means stone of help
for he said, “Till now the Lord has helped us.” Acts 26:22
22 jTo this day I have had the help that comes from God, and so kI stand here testifying both to small and great, saying nothing but what lthe prophets and Moses said would come to pass:2 Corinthians 1:10
10 mHe delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. nOn him we have set our hope that he will deliver us again.
