Judges 2:1-5

Israel’s Disobedience

1Now the angel of the Lord went up from Gilgal to fBochim. And he said, “I brought you up from Egypt and brought you into the land that I swore to give to your fathers. I said, g‘I will never break my covenant with you, 2 hand you shall make no covenant with the inhabitants of this land; iyou shall break down their altars.’ But you have not obeyed my voice. What is this you have done? 3So now I say, jI will not drive them out before you, but they shall become kthorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare to you.” 4As soon as the angel of the Lord spoke these words to all the people of Israel, the people lifted up their voices and wept. 5And they called the name of that place Bochim.
 Bochim means weepers
And they sacrificed there to the Lord.

Judges 5:23

23 Curse Meroz, says the angel of the Lord,
curse its inhabitants thoroughly,
mbecause they did not come to the help of the Lord,
to the help of the Lord against the mighty.

Judges 6:14-16

14And the Lord

turned to him and said, “Go in this might of yours and save Israel from the hand of Midian; odo not I send you?”

Judges 13:3

3 sAnd the angel of the Lord appeared to the woman and said to her, “Behold, you are barren and have not borne children, but you shall conceive and bear a son.

Judges 13:18-20

18And the angel of the Lord said to him, t“Why do you ask my name, seeing uit is wonderful?” 19So vManoah took the young goat with the grain offering, and offered it on the rock to the Lord, to the one who works

20And when the flame went up toward heaven from the altar, the angel of the Lord went up in the flame of the altar. Now Manoah and his wife were watching, xand they fell on their faces to the ground.

Isaiah 63:9

9 yIn all their affliction he was afflicted,
Or  he did not afflict

and the angel of his presence saved them;
aain his love and in his pity he redeemed them;
abhe lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.
