Genesis 49:1

Jacob Blesses His Sons

1 aThen Jacob called his sons and said, “Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you what shall happen to you bin days to come.

Genesis 49:24-26

24yet chis bow remained unmoved;
his arms
Hebrew the arms of his hands
were made agile
by the hands of the eMighty One of Jacob
(from there is fthe Shepherd,
Or by the name of the Shepherd
hthe Stone of Israel),
25 iby the God of your father who will help you,
by jthe Almighty
Hebrew Shaddai
lwho will bless you
with blessings of heaven above,
blessings of the deep that crouches beneath,
blessings of the breasts and of the womb.
26The blessings of your father
are mighty beyond the blessings of my parents,
up to the bounties mof the everlasting hills.
A slight emendation yields (compare Septuagint)  the blessings of the eternal mountains, the bounties of the everlasting hills

May they be oon the head of Joseph,
and on the brow of him who was set apart from his brothers.

Joshua 24:27-29

27And Joshua said to all the people, “Behold, pthis stone shall be a witness against us, for qit has heard all the words of the Lord that he spoke to us. Therefore it shall be a witness against you, lest you deal falsely with your God.” 28So Joshua rsent the people away, every man to his inheritance.

Joshua’s Death and Burial

29 sAfter these things Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the Lord, died, being 110 years old.

Hebrews 11:22

22By faith tJoseph, at the end of his life, made mention of the exodus of the Israelites and gave directions concerning his bones.
