Genesis 49:16-17

16 ^a“Dan shall ^bjudge his people
as one of the tribes of Israel.
17 Dan ^cshall be a serpent in the way,
a viper by the path,
that bites the horse’s heels
so that his rider falls backward.

Joshua 19:47

47 When ^dthe territory of the people of Dan was lost to them, the people of Dan went up and fought against Leshem, and after capturing it and striking it with the sword they took possession of it and settled in it, calling Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their ancestor.

Judges 13:2

2 There was a certain man of ^eZorah, of the tribe of the Danites, whose name was Manoah. ^fAnd his wife was barren and had no children.

Judges 13:24-25

24 And the woman bore a son and called his name Samson. ^gAnd the young man grew, and the Lord blessed him. 25 ^hAnd the Spirit of the Lord began to stir him in Mahaneh-dan, between ⁱZorah and Eshtaol.

Judges 14:6

6 ^jThen the Spirit of the Lord rushed upon him, and although he had nothing in his hand, he tore the lion in pieces as one tears a young goat. But he did not tell his father or his mother what he had done.
