Genesis 49:5-7

5 ^a“Simeon and Levi are brothers;
weapons ^bof violence are their swords.
6 Let my soul come not into their council;
^cO my glory, ^dbe not joined to their company.
For in their anger they killed men,
and in their willfulness they ^ehamstrung oxen.
7 Cursed be their anger, for it is fierce,
and their wrath, for it is cruel!
I will ^fdivide them in Jacob
and scatter them in Israel.

Joshua 19:9

9 ^gThe inheritance of the people of Simeon formed part of the territory of the people of Judah. Because the portion of the people of Judah was too large for them, the people of Simeon obtained an inheritance in the midst of their inheritance.
