Genesis 49:9

9Judah is aa lion’s cub;
from the prey, my son, you have gone up.
bHe stooped down; he crouched as a lion
and as a lioness; who dares rouse him?

Numbers 24:9

9He crouched, he lay down like a lion
and clike a lioness; who will rouse him up?
dBlessed are those who bless you,
and cursed are those who curse you.”

Isaiah 31:4

4 For thus the Lord said to me,

and when a band of shepherds is called out against him
he is not terrified by their shouting
or daunted at their noise,
fso the Lord of hosts will come down
to fight
The Hebrew words for  hosts and  to fight sound alike
on Mount Zion and on its hill.

Jeremiah 4:7

7 hA lion has gone up from his thicket,
a destroyer of nations has set out;
he has gone out from his place
to make your land a waste;
your cities will be ruins
iwithout inhabitant.

Jeremiah 49:19

19 jBehold, klike a lion coming up from lthe jungle of the Jordan against a perennial pasture, I will suddenly make him
