Genesis 5:29-30

29and called his name Noah, saying, “Out of the ground athat the Lord has cursed, this one shall bring us relief
 Noah sounds like the Hebrew for rest
from our work and from the painful toil of our hands.”
30Lamech lived after he fathered Noah 595 years and had other sons and daughters.

Genesis 6:8-10

8But Noah cfound favor in the eyes of the Lord.

Noah and the Flood

9These are the generations of Noah. dNoah was a righteous man, eblameless in his generation. Noah fwalked with God. 10And Noah had three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Genesis 6:22

22 gNoah did this; he did all that God commanded him.

Genesis 7:1

1Then the Lord said to Noah, hGo into the ark, you and all your household, for I have seen that iyou are righteous before me in this generation.

Genesis 7:23

23He blotted out every living thing that was on the face of the ground, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the heavens. They were blotted out from the earth. Only jNoah was left, and those who were with him in the ark.

Genesis 8:1

The Flood Subsides

1But God kremembered Noah and all the beasts and all the livestock that were with him in the ark. And lGod made a wind blow over the earth, and the waters subsided.

Genesis 9:1

1And God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, m“Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth.

Ezekiel 14:14

14 neven if these three men, oNoah, pDaniel, and qJob, were in it, rthey would deliver but their own lives by their righteousness, declares the Lord God.

Luke 17:27

27 sThey were eating and drinking and marrying and being given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.

Hebrews 11:7

7By faith tNoah, being warned by God concerning uevents as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household. By this he condemned the world and became an heir of vthe righteousness that comes by faith.
