Genesis 50:11

11When the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, saw the mourning on the threshing floor of Atad, they said, “This is a grievous mourning by the Egyptians.” Therefore the place was named Abel-mizraim;
 Abel-mizraim means mourning (or meadow) of Egypt
it is beyond the Jordan.

2 Samuel 1:19

19 “Your glory, O Israel, is slain on your high places!
bHow the mighty have fallen!

2 Chronicles 35:25

25 cJeremiah also uttered a lament for Josiah; and all dthe singing men and singing women have spoken of Josiah in their laments to this day. They made these a rule in Israel; behold, they are written in the Laments.

Jeremiah 9:17-21

17 Thus says the Lord of hosts:
eConsider, and call for the mourning women to come;
send for the skillful women to come;
18let them make haste fand raise a wailing over us,
gthat our eyes may run down with tears
and our eyelids flow with water.
19For a sound of wailing is heard from Zion:
hHow we are ruined!
We are utterly shamed,
because we have left the land,
because they have cast down our dwellings.’”
20 Hear, O women, the word of the Lord,
and let your ear receive the word of his mouth;
teach to your daughters a lament,
and each to her neighbor a dirge.
21For death has come up into our windows;
it has entered our palaces,
icutting off the children from the streets
and the young men from the squares.
