The Death of Jesus
28After this, Jesus, knowing that all was now kfinished, said ( lto fulfill the Scripture), m“I thirst.” 29A jar full of sour wine stood there, nso they put a sponge full of the sour wine on a hyssop branch and held it to his mouth. 30When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, o“It is finished,” and he bowed his head and pgave up his spirit.Acts 26:22-23

23When they had appointed a day for him, they came to him at his lodging in greater numbers. From morning till evening zhe expounded to them, testifying to aathe kingdom of God and abtrying to convince them about Jesus acboth from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets.
