Genesis 6:11-12

11Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight, and the earth was filled with violence. 12And God asaw the earth, and behold, it was corrupt, bfor all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.

Psalms 14:2-3

2 The Lord clooks down from heaven on the children of man,
to see if there are any who understand,
Or that act wisely

who eseek after God.
3 They have all turned aside; together they have become fcorrupt;
there is none who does good,
not even one.

Isaiah 50:1

Israel’s Sin and the Servant’s Obedience

1 Thus says the Lord:
Where is gyour mother’s certificate of divorce,
with which hI sent her away?
Or iwhich of my creditors is it
to whom I have sold you?
jBehold, for your iniquities you were sold,
and for your transgressions your mother was sent away.

Romans 1:22-32

22 kClaiming to be wise, they became fools, 23and lexchanged the glory of mthe immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.

24Therefore nGod gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to othe dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, 25because they exchanged the truth about God for pa lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, qwho is blessed forever! Amen.

26For this reason rGod gave them up to sdishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; 27and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, tmen committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.

28And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, uGod gave them up to va debased mind to do wwhat ought not to be done. 29They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, 30slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32Though they know xGod’s righteous decree that those who practice such things ydeserve to die, they not only do them but zgive approval to those who practice them.

Romans 3:9-19

No One Is Righteous

9What then? Are we Jews
Greek  Are we
any better off?
Or at any disadvantage?
No, not at all. For we have already charged that all, both acJews and adGreeks, are aeunder sin,
10as it is written:

af“None is righteous, no, not one;
11no one understands;
no one seeks for God.
12All have turned aside; together they have become worthless;
no one does good,
not even one.”
13 agTheir throat is ahan open grave;
they use their tongues to deceive.”
ai“The venom of asps is under their lips.”
14 ajTheir mouth is full of curses and bitterness.”
15 akTheir feet are swift to shed blood;
16in their paths are ruin and misery,
17and althe way of peace they have not known.”
18 am“There is no fear of God before their eyes.”
19Now we know that whatever anthe law says it speaks to those who are under the law, aoso that every mouth may be stopped, and apthe whole world may be held accountable to God.
