were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown. 5 bThe Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every cintention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
Deuteronomy 7:3-4
3 dYou shall not intermarry with them, giving your daughters to their sons or taking their daughters for your sons, 4for they would turn away your sons from following me, to serve other gods. eThen the anger of the Lord would be kindled against you, and he would destroy you fquickly.Deuteronomy 13:6-10

4So when he restored the money to his mother, his mother qtook 200 pieces of silver and gave it to the silversmith, who made it into a carved image and a metal image. Nevertheless, foreign women made even him to sin. 27Shall we then listen to you and do all this great evil and aeact treacherously against our God by marrying foreign women?”Malachi 2:15
