Genesis 6:5-7

5 aThe Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every bintention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6And cthe Lord regretted that he had made man on the earth, and it dgrieved him to his heart. 7So the Lord said, “I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the heavens, for I am sorry that I have made them.”

Genesis 8:21

21And when the Lord smelled ethe pleasing aroma, the Lord said in his heart, “I will never again fcurse
Or dishonor
the ground because of man, for hthe intention of man’s heart is evil from his youth. iNeither will I ever again strike down every living creature as I have done.

Isaiah 1:5

5 Why will you still be jstruck down?
Why will you kcontinue to rebel?
The whole head is sick,
and the whole heart faint.

Jeremiah 5:3

3O Lord, do not your eyes look for truth?
lYou have struck them down,
but they felt no anguish;
you have consumed them,
but they refused to take correction.
mThey have made their faces harder than rock;
they have refused to repent.

Jeremiah 44:16-17

16“As for the word that you have spoken to us in the name of the Lord, nwe will not listen to you. 17 oBut we will do everything that we have vowed, make offerings to pthe queen of heaven qand pour out drink offerings to her, ras we did, both we and our fathers, our kings and our officials, in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem. For then we had plenty of food, and prospered, and saw no disaster.

Ezekiel 24:6

6Therefore thus says the Lord God: sWoe to the bloody city, to tthe pot whose corrosion is in it, and whose corrosion has not gone out of it! Take out of it piece after piece, without making any choice.
Hebrew no lot has fallen upon it

Ezekiel 24:13

13On account of your unclean lewdness, because I would have cleansed you and you were not cleansed from your uncleanness, vyou shall not be cleansed anymore till wI have satisfied my fury upon you.

Daniel 9:13-14

13 xAs it is written in the Law of Moses, all this calamity has come upon us; yet we have not entreated the favor of the Lord our God, yturning from our iniquities and gaining insight by your truth. 14 zTherefore the Lord has kept ready the calamity and has brought it upon us, aafor the Lord our God is righteous in all the works that he has done, and abwe have not obeyed his voice.
