My Refuge and My Fortress

3 For he will deliver you from nthe snare of the fowler
and from the deadly pestilence.
4He will ocover you with his pinions,
and under his pwings you will qfind refuge;
his rfaithfulness is sa shield and buckler.
5 tYou will not fear uthe terror of the night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
6nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
nor the destruction that wastes at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8You will only look with your eyes
and vsee the recompense of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the Lord your wdwelling place

10 zno evil shall be allowed to befall you,
aano plague come near your tent.

Isaiah 26:20-21

20 Come, my people, enter your chambers,
and shut your doors behind you;
hide yourselves ahfor a little while
until the fury has passed by.

to punish the inhabitants of ajthe earth for their iniquity,
and the earth will disclose the blood shed on it,
and will no more cover its slain.
