Genesis 8:21

21And when the Lord smelled athe pleasing aroma, the Lord said in his heart, “I will never again bcurse

the ground because of man, for dthe intention of man’s heart is evil from his youth. eNeither will I ever again strike down every living creature as I have done.

Leviticus 1:9-10

9but its entrails and its legs he shall wash with water. And the priest shall burn all of it on the altar, as fa burnt offering, a food offering
Or  an offering by fire; so throughout Leviticus
with a hpleasing aroma to the Lord.

10If his gift for a burnt offering is from the flock, from the sheep or goats, he shall bring a male without blemish,

Leviticus 1:13

Hebrews 10:6-12

6in burnt offerings and sin offerings
you have taken no pleasure.
7Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come to do your will, O God,
as it is written of me in the scroll of the book.’”
8When he said above, “You have neither desired nor taken pleasure in ksacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and sin offerings” (these are offered according to the law), 9then he added, lBehold, I have come to do your will.” He does away with the first in order to establish the second. 10And by that will mwe have been sanctified through the offering of nthe body of Jesus Christ oonce for all.

11And every priest stands pdaily at his service, qoffering repeatedly the same sacrifices, rwhich can never take away sins. 12But when Christ
Greek this one
had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he tsat down at the right hand of God,

Hebrews 13:15-16

15 uThrough him then let us continually offer up va sacrifice of praise to God, that is, wthe fruit of lips that acknowledge his name. 16Do not neglect to do good and xto share what you have, for such ysacrifices are pleasing to God.
