Genesis 9:13-16

13I have set amy bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth. 14When I bring clouds over the earth and the bow is seen in the clouds, 15 bI will remember my covenant that is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh. And the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh. 16When the bow is in the clouds, I will see it and remember cthe everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.”

I hid my face from you,
ebut with everlasting love I will have compassion on you,”

9 This is like fthe days of Noah
Some manuscripts For this is as the waters of Noah
to me:
as I swore that the waters of Noah
should no more go over the earth,
so I have sworn that I will not be angry with you,
and will not rebuke you.
10For the mountains may depart
and the hills be removed,
but my steadfast love shall not depart from you,
and hmy covenant of peace shall not be removed,”
says the Lord, who has compassion on you.
