Genesis 9:5-6

5And for your lifeblood I will require a reckoning: afrom every beast I will require it and bfrom man. From his fellow man I will require a reckoning for the life of man.

6 c“Whoever sheds the blood of man,
by man shall his blood be shed,
dfor God made man in his own image.

Numbers 35:33

33You shall not epollute the land in which you live, for blood fpollutes the land, and no atonement can be made for the land for the blood that is shed in it, except gby the blood of the one who shed it.

2 Kings 24:4

4and also hfor the innocent blood that he had shed. For he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, and the Lord would not pardon.

Revelation of John 18:20-24
