Hebrews 10:26-29

26For aif we go on sinning deliberately bafter receiving the knowledge of the truth, cthere no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 dbut a fearful expectation of judgment, and ea fury of fire that will consume the adversaries. 28 fAnyone who has set aside the law of Moses dies without mercy gon the evidence of two or three witnesses. 29How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one hwho has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has profaned ithe blood of the covenant jby which he was sanctified, and has koutraged the Spirit of grace?

2 Peter 2:21-22

21For lit would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from mthe holy commandment delivered to them. 22What the true proverb says has happened to them: “The ndog returns to its own vomit, and the sow, after washing herself, returns to wallow in the mire.”
