Hebrews 11:9-10

9By faith he went to live in dthe land of promise, as in a foreign land, eliving in tents fwith Isaac and Jacob, heirs with him of the same promise. 10For he was looking forward to gthe city that has hfoundations, iwhose designer and builder is God.

Hebrews 11:13-16

13These all died in faith, jnot having received the things promised, but khaving seen them and greeted them from afar, and lhaving acknowledged that they were mstrangers and exiles on the earth. 14For people who speak thus make it clear that they are seeking a homeland. 15If they had been thinking of that land from which they had gone out, nthey would have had opportunity to return. 16But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed oto be called their God, for phe has prepared for them a city.
