Jesus, Founder and Perfecter of Our Faith

1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and ^asin which clings so closely, and ^blet us run ^cwith endurance the race that is ^dset before us,

2 Peter 1:5-10

The plural Greek word adelphoi (translated “brothers”) refers to siblings in a family. In New Testament usage, depending on the context, adelphoi may refer either to men or to both men and women who are siblings (brothers and sisters) in God’s family, the church} be all the more diligent to confirm your calling and ^pelection, for if you practice these qualities ^qyou will never fall.

2 Peter 3:18
