Warning Against Neglecting Salvation

1Therefore we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it. 2For since athe message declared by angels proved to be reliable, and bevery transgression or disobedience received a just cretribution, 3 dhow shall we escape if we eneglect such a great salvation? 28 jAnyone who has set aside the law of Moses dies without mercy kon the evidence of two or three witnesses. 29How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one lwho has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has profaned mthe blood of the covenant nby which he was sanctified, and has ooutraged the Spirit of grace?
