Hebrews 2:8-10

Now in putting everything in subjection to him, he left nothing outside his control. At present, awe do not yet see everything in subjection to him.
9But we see him bwho for a little while was made lower than the angels, namely Jesus, ccrowned with glory and honor dbecause of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might etaste death ffor everyone.

10For it gwas fitting that he, hfor whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons ito glory, should make the jfounder of their salvation kperfect through suffering.

Hebrews 9:22-23

22Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and lwithout the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.

23Thus it was necessary for mthe copies of the heavenly things to be purified with these rites, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
