Hebrews 3:8-9

8do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion,
on the day of testing in the wilderness,
9where your fathers put me to the test
and saw my works for aforty years.

Hebrews 3:15-19

15As it is said,

bToday, if you hear his voice,
do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.”
16For cwho were those who heard and yet rebelled? Was it not dall those who left Egypt led by Moses? 17And with whom was he provoked for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, ewhose bodies fell in the wilderness? 18And to whom did he swear that fthey would not enter his rest, but to those who were disobedient? 19So we see that gthey were unable to enter because of unbelief.

Jude 5
