Hebrews 4:12

12For athe word of God is living and bactive, csharper than any dtwo-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and ediscerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

1 Peter 1:25

25 fbut the word of the Lord remains forever.”
And this word gis the good news that was preached to you.

2 Peter 1:16-21

Christ’s Glory and the Prophetic Word

16For we did not follow hcleverly devised imyths when we made known to you jthe power and kcoming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but lwe were eyewitnesses of his majesty. 17For when he received honor and glory from God the Father, and the voice was borne to him by the Majestic Glory, mThis is my beloved Son,
Or  my Son, my (or the) Beloved
with whom I am well pleased,”
18we ourselves heard this very voice borne from heaven, for we were with him on othe holy mountain. 19And pwe have the prophetic word more fully confirmed, to which you will do well to pay attention qas to a lamp shining in a dark place, until rthe day sdawns and the morning star rises in your hearts, 20knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone’s own interpretation. 21For tno prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God uas they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
