Hebrews 4:14

Jesus the Great High Priest

14Since then we have aa great high priest bwho has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, clet us hold fast our confession.

Hebrews 4:16

16 dLet us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Hebrews 7:25-27

25Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost
That is, completely; or at all times
fthose who draw near to God gthrough him, since he always lives hto make intercession for them.

26For it was indeed fitting that we should have such a high priest, iholy, innocent, unstained, jseparated from sinners, and kexalted above the heavens. 27He has no need, like those high priests, to offer sacrifices daily, lfirst for his own sins and then for those of the people, since he did this monce for all when he offered up himself.

Hebrews 10:12-13

12But when Christ
Greek this one
had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he osat down at the right hand of God,
13waiting from that time puntil his enemies should be made a footstool for his feet.

Hebrews 10:19-22

The Full Assurance of Faith

19 qTherefore, brothers,
Or  brothers and sisters
since we have confidence to enter sthe holy places by the blood of Jesus,
20by tthe new and living way that he opened for us through uthe curtain, that is, through his flesh, 21and since we have va great priest over the house of God, 22let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts wsprinkled clean xfrom an evil conscience and our bodies ywashed with pure water.
