Hebrews 9:11-12

Redemption Through the Blood of Christ

11 But when Christ appeared as a high priest ^aof the good things that have come, ^{▼▼Some manuscripts good things to come} then through ^cthe greater and more perfect tent ( ^dnot made with hands, that is, not of this creation) 12 he ^eentered ^fonce for all into the holy places, not by means of ^gthe blood of goats and calves but ^hby means of his own blood, ⁱthus securing an eternal redemption.

Hebrews 9:15

15 Therefore he is ^jthe mediator of a new covenant, so that ^kthose who are called may ^lreceive the promised eternal inheritance, ^msince a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant. ^{▼▼The Greek word means both covenant and will; also verses 16, 17}

Hebrews 9:22

22 Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and ^owithout the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.

Hebrews 9:28

28 so Christ, having been offered once ^pto bear the sins of ^qmany, will appear ^ra second time, ^snot to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly ^twaiting for him.
