Hebrews 9:14-15

15 Therefore he is ^gthe mediator of a new covenant, so that ^hthose who are called may ⁱreceive the promised eternal inheritance, ^jsince a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant. ^{▼▼The Greek word means both covenant and will; also verses 16, 17}

Hebrews 9:28

28 so Christ, having been offered once ^lto bear the sins of ^mmany, will appear ⁿa second time, ^onot to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly ^pwaiting for him.
