Hosea 1:9

9And the Lord said, aCall his name Not My People,
Hebrew Lo-ammi, which means  not my people
for cyou are not my people, and I am not your God.”
Hebrew  I am not yours

Galatians 3:16-18

16Now ethe promises were made fto Abraham and to his offspring. It does not say, “And to offsprings,” referring to many, but referring to one, gAnd to your offspring,” who is Christ. 17This is what I mean: the law, which came h430 years afterward, does not annul a covenant previously ratified by God, so as ito make the promise void. 18For if the inheritance comes by the law, it no longer comes by promise; but jGod gave it to Abraham by a promise.

Hebrews 7:17-22

17For it is witnessed of him,

kYou are a priest forever,
after the order of Melchizedek.”
18For on the one hand, a former commandment is set aside lbecause of its weakness and uselessness 19(for mthe law made nothing perfect); but on the other hand, na better hope is introduced, through which owe draw near to God.

20And it was not without an oath. For those who formerly became priests were made such without an oath, 21but this one was made a priest with an oath by the one who said to him:

p“The Lord has sworn
and will not change his mind,
You are a priest forever.’”
22This makes Jesus the guarantor of qa better covenant.

Hebrews 8:8-13

8For he finds fault with them when he says:
Some manuscripts  For finding fault with it he says to them

sBehold, the days are coming, declares the Lord,
when I will establish a new covenant with the house of Israel
and with the house of Judah,
9not like the covenant that I made with their fathers
on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt.
For they did not continue in my covenant,
and so I showed no concern for them, declares the Lord.
10 tFor this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel
after those days, declares the Lord:
I will put my laws into their minds,
and uwrite them on their hearts,
and I will be their God,
and they shall be my people.
11And they shall not teach, each one his neighbor
and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’
for they shall vall know me,
from the least of them to the greatest.
12For I will be merciful toward their iniquities,
wand I will remember their sins no more.”
13In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete. And xwhat is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.
