Hosea 2:1-2

Israel’s Unfaithfulness Punished

2 “Plead with your mother, plead—
for ^fshe is not my wife,
and I am not her husband—
that she put away ^gher whoring from her face,
and her adultery from between her breasts;

Hosea 2:5

5 For ^htheir mother has played the whore;
she who conceived them has acted shamefully.
For ⁱshe said, ‘I will go after my lovers,
who ^jgive me my bread and my water,
my wool and my flax, my oil and my drink.’

Hosea 2:8

8 And ^kshe did not know
that it was ^lI who gave her
^mthe grain, the wine, and the oil,
and who lavished on ⁿher silver and gold,
^owhich they used for Baal.
