Amos 6:4-7

Warning to the Rich

1 Come now, ⁿyou rich, weep and howl for the ^omiseries that are coming upon you. 2 ^pYour riches have rotted and ^qyour garments are moth-eaten. 3 Your gold and silver have corroded, and their corrosion will be evidence against you and will eat your flesh like fire. ^rYou have laid up treasure ^sin the last days. 4 Behold, ^tthe wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, are crying out against you, and ^uthe cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of ^vthe Lord of hosts. 5 ^wYou have lived on the earth in luxury and ^xin self-indulgence. You have fattened your hearts in ^ya day of slaughter.

Revelation of John 18:22-23

22 and ^zthe sound of harpists and musicians, of flute players and trumpeters,
will be heard in you no more,
and a craftsman of any craft
will be found in you no more,
