Hosea 2:11

11 aAnd I will put an end to all her mirth,
her feasts, her bnew moons, her cSabbaths,
and all her dappointed feasts.

Amos 6:4-7

4 “Woe to those ewho lie on fbeds of ivory
gand stretch themselves out on their couches,
and eat lambs from the flock
hand calves from the midst of the stall,
5 iwho sing idle songs to the sound of the harp
and like David jinvent for themselves instruments of music,
6 kwho drink wine in bowls
and lanoint themselves with the finest oils,
but are not grieved over the ruin of Joseph!
7 mTherefore they shall now be the first of those who go into exile,
and the revelry of those who stretch themselves out shall pass away.”

James 5:1-5

Warning to the Rich

1Come now, nyou rich, weep and howl for the omiseries that are coming upon you. 2 pYour riches have rotted and qyour garments are moth-eaten. 3Your gold and silver have corroded, and their corrosion will be evidence against you and will eat your flesh like fire. rYou have laid up treasure sin the last days. 4Behold, tthe wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, are crying out against you, and uthe cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of vthe Lord of hosts. 5 wYou have lived on the earth in luxury and xin self-indulgence. You have fattened your hearts in ya day of slaughter.

Revelation of John 18:22-23

22and zthe sound of harpists and musicians, of flute players and trumpeters,
will be heard in you no more,
and a craftsman of any craft
will be found in you no more,
and aathe sound of the mill
will be heard in you no more,
23and the light of a lamp
will shine in you no more,
and abthe voice of bridegroom and bride
will be heard in you no more,
for acyour merchants were the great ones of the earth,
and all nations were deceived adby your sorcery.
