Hosea 14:1-3

A Plea to Return to the Lord

1 iReturn, O Israel, to the Lord your God,
for jyou have stumbled because of your iniquity.
2Take with you words
and return to the Lord;
say to him,
Take away all iniquity;
accept kwhat is good,
and we will pay with bulls
lthe vows
Septuagint, Syriac  pay the fruit
of our lips.
3 nAssyria shall not save us;
owe will not ride on horses;
and pwe will say no more, ‘Our God,’
to the work of our hands.
qIn you the orphan finds mercy.”

Micah 7:7

7But as for me, I will look to the Lord;
rI will wait for the God of my salvation;
my God will hear me.
