Hosea 4:15

15 Though you play the whore, O aIsrael,
let not bJudah become guilty.
cEnter not into dGilgal,
nor go up to eBeth-aven,
and swear not, “As the Lord lives.”

Hosea 5:5-14

5 fThe pride of Israel testifies to his face;
Or in his presence

Israel and hEphraim shall stumble in his guilt;
iJudah also shall stumble with them.
6 jWith their flocks and herds they shall go
to seek the Lord,
kbut they will not find him;
lhe has withdrawn from them.
7 mThey have dealt faithlessly with the Lord;
for they have borne alien children.
Now the new moon shall devour them with their fields.
8 nBlow the horn in oGibeah,
the trumpet in pRamah.
Sound the alarm at qBeth-aven;
we follow you,
Or after you
O Benjamin!
9Ephraim shall become a desolation
in the day of punishment;
among the tribes of Israel
I make known what is sure.
10The princes of Judah have become
like sthose who move the landmark;
upon them I will pour out
my wrath like water.
11Ephraim is toppressed, crushed in judgment,
because he was determined to go after filth.
Or  to follow human precepts

12But I am vlike a moth to Ephraim,
and wlike dry rot to the house of Judah.
13 When Ephraim saw his sickness,
and Judah xhis wound,
then Ephraim went yto Assyria,
and sent to the great king.
Or  to King Jareb

aaBut he is not able to cure you
or heal abyour wound.
14For I will be aclike a lion to adEphraim,
and like a young lion to the house of aeJudah.
afI, even I, will tear and go away;
I will carry off, and no one shall rescue.

Hosea 6:10-11

10In the house of Israel I have seen a horrible thing;
agEphraim’s whoredom is there; ahIsrael is defiled.
11 For you also, O aiJudah, aja harvest is appointed.
When akI restore the fortunes of my people,

Hosea 8:14

14For alIsrael has forgotten amhis Maker
and anbuilt palaces,
and aoJudah has multiplied fortified cities;

and pursues aqthe east wind all day long;

asthey make a covenant with Assyria,
and atoil is carried to Egypt.

2 auThe Lord has an indictment against Judah
and will punish Jacob according to his ways;
he will repay him according to his deeds.

Amos 2:4-8

Judgment on Judah

4Thus says the Lord:

av“For three transgressions of Judah,
and for four, I will not revoke the punishment,
because awthey have rejected the law of the Lord,
and have not kept his statutes,
but axtheir lies have led them astray,
those after which their fathers walked.
5So ayI will send a fire upon Judah,
and it shall devour the strongholds of Jerusalem.”

Judgment on Israel

6Thus says the Lord:

az“For three transgressions of Israel,
and for four, I will not revoke the punishment,
because bathey sell the righteous for bbsilver,
and the needy for a pair of sandals
7those who trample the head of the poor bcinto the dust of the earth
and bdturn aside the way of the afflicted;
bea man and his father go in to the same girl,
so that my holy name is profaned;
8they lay themselves down beside every altar
on garments bftaken in pledge,
and in the house of their God they drink
the wine of those who have been fined.

Amos 3:1-2

Israel’s Guilt and Punishment

1 bgHear this word that the Lord has spoken against you, O people of Israel, against the whole family that I brought up out of the land of Egypt:

2 bh“You only have I known
of all the families of the earth;
bitherefore I will punish you
for all your iniquities.

Amos 6:1

Woe to Those at Ease in Zion

1 bjWoe to those who are at ease in Zion,
and to those who feel secure on bkthe mountain of Samaria,
blthe notable men of bmthe first of the nations,
to whom the house of Israel comes!

Micah 1:5

5All this is for bnthe transgression of Jacob
and for the sins of the house of Israel.
boWhat is the transgression of Jacob?
Is it not bpSamaria?
And what is bqthe high place of Judah?
Is it not Jerusalem?
