Hosea 9:11-17

11 Ephraim’s ^aglory shall fly away like a bird—
^bno birth, no pregnancy, no conception!
12 ^cEven if they bring up children,
I will bereave them till none is left.
^dWoe to them
when ^eI depart from them!
13 Ephraim, ^fas I have seen, was like a young palm ^{▼▼Or like Tyre} planted in a meadow;
but ^hEphraim must lead his children out to slaughter. ^{▼▼Hebrew to him who slaughters}
14 Give them, O Lord—
what will you give?
Give them ^ja miscarrying womb
and dry breasts.
15 Every evil of theirs is in ^kGilgal;
there I began to hate them.
Because of the wickedness of their deeds
I will drive them out of my house.
I will love them no more;
all ^ltheir princes are ^mrebels.
16 Ephraim is stricken;
ⁿtheir root is dried up;
they shall bear no fruit.
Even ^othough they give birth,
^pI will put their beloved children to death.
17 ^qMy God will reject them
because they have not listened to him;
^rthey shall be wanderers among the nations.

Hosea 10:15

15 Thus it shall be done to you, O ^sBethel,
because of your great evil.
At dawn ^tthe king of Israel
shall be utterly cut off.

Hosea 13:8

8 I will fall upon them ^ulike a bear robbed of her cubs;
I will tear open their breast,
