Isaiah 1:11-15

11 aWhat to me is the multitude of your sacrifices?
says the Lord;
I have had enough of burnt offerings of rams
and the fat of well-fed beasts;
I do not delight in the blood of bulls,
or of lambs, or of goats.
12 “When you come to bappear before me,
who has required of you
this trampling of my courts?
13Bring no more vain offerings;
incense is an abomination to me.
cNew moon and Sabbath and the dcalling of convocations
I cannot endure einiquity and fsolemn assembly.
14Your gnew moons and your appointed feasts
my soul hates;
they have become a burden to me;
I am weary of bearing them.
15When you hspread out your hands,
I will hide my eyes from you;
ieven though you make many prayers,
I will not listen;
jyour hands are full of blood.

Isaiah 58:2-6

2 kYet they seek me daily
and delight to know my ways,
as if they were a nation that did righteousness
and did not forsake the judgment of their God;
they ask of me righteous judgments;
they delight to draw near to God.
3 lWhy have we fasted, and you see it not?
Why have we humbled ourselves, and you take no knowledge of it?’
Behold, in the day of your fast you seek your own pleasure,
Or pursue your own business

nand oppress all your workers.
4Behold, you fast only to quarrel and to fight
and to hit with a wicked fist.
Fasting like yours this day
will not make your voice to be heard on high.
5 oIs such the fast that I choose,
pa day for a person to humble himself?
Is it to bow down his head like a reed,
and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him?
Will you call this a fast,
and a day acceptable to the Lord?
6 “Is not this the fast that I choose:
qto loose the bonds of wickedness,
to undo the straps rof the yoke,
to let the oppressed
Or bruised
go free,
and to break every yoke?

Isaiah 59:6-8

6 tTheir webs will not serve as clothing;
men will not cover themselves with what they make.
Their works are works of iniquity,
and deeds of violence are in their hands.
7 uTheir feet run to evil,
and they are swift to shed innocent blood;
their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity;
desolation and destruction are in their highways.
8The way of peace they do not know,
and there is no justice in their paths;
they have made their roads crooked;
vno one who treads on them knows peace.

Isaiah 64:5

5You meet him who joyfully works righteousness,
those who remember you in your ways.
Behold, you were angry, and we sinned;
in our sins we have been a long time, and shall we be saved?
Or  in your ways is continuance, that we might be saved

Isaiah 66:3-4

3 x“He who slaughters an ox is like one who kills a man;
he who sacrifices a lamb, like one who breaks a dog’s neck;
he who presents a grain offering, like one who offers ypig’s blood;
he who makes a memorial offering of frankincense, like one who blesses an idol.
zThese have chosen their own ways,
and their soul delights in their abominations;
4 aaI also will choose harsh treatment for them
and bring abtheir fears upon them,
acbecause when I called, no one answered,
when I spoke, they did not listen;
adbut they did what was evil in my eyes
and chose that in which I did not delight.”

Jeremiah 7:4-11

4 aeDo not trust in these deceptive words: ‘This is the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord.’

5For if you truly afamend your ways and your deeds, if you truly agexecute justice one with another, 6if you ahdo not oppress the sojourner, the fatherless, or the widow, aior shed innocent blood in this place, ajand if you do not go after other gods to your own harm, 7 akthen I will let you dwell in this place, alin the land that I gave of old to your fathers forever.

8Behold, you trust in deceptive words to no avail. 9 amWill you steal, murder, commit adultery, answear falsely, aomake offerings to Baal, apand go after other gods that you have not known, 10and then come and stand before me in this house, aqwhich is called by my name, and say, ‘We are delivered!’—only to go on doing all these abominations? 11 arHas this house, aswhich is called by my name, atbecome a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, I myself have seen it, declares the Lord.

Micah 3:2-4

2you auwho hate the good and love the evil,
avwho tear the skin from off my people
Hebrew  from off them

and their flesh from off their bones,
3 axwho eat the flesh of my people,
and flay their skin from off them,
and break their bones in pieces
and chop them up like meat in a pot,
like flesh in a cauldron.
4 ayThen they will cry to the Lord,
but he will not answer them;
azhe will hide his face from them at that time,
because they have made their deeds evil.
