Isaiah 1:16-20

16 aWash yourselves; make yourselves clean;
remove the evil of your deeds from before my eyes;
bcease to do evil,
17learn to do good;
cseek justice,
correct oppression;
dbring justice to the fatherless,
plead the widow’s cause.
18 Come now, elet us reason
Or dispute
together, says the Lord:
though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as gwhite as snow;
though they are red like crimson,
they shall become like wool.
19 hIf you are willing and obedient,
you shall eat the good of the land;
20but if you refuse and rebel,
you shall be eaten by the sword;
ifor the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

Jeremiah 7:5

5For if you truly jamend your ways and your deeds, if you truly kexecute justice one with another,

Jeremiah 7:23

23But this command I gave them: lObey my voice, and mI will be your God, and you shall be my people. nAnd walk in all the way that I command you, othat it may be well with you.’

Jeremiah 36:2-3

2Take pa scroll and qwrite on it all the words that I have spoken to you against Israel and rJudah sand all the nations, tfrom the day I spoke to you, from the days of Josiah until today. 3 uIt may be that the house of Judah will hear all the disaster that I intend to do to them, vso that every one may turn from his evil way, and wthat I may forgive their iniquity and their sin.”

Ezekiel 18:30-32

30Therefore xI will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, declares the Lord God. yRepent and turn from all your transgressions, zlest iniquity be your ruin.
Or lest iniquity be your stumbling block
31 abCast away from you all the transgressions that you have committed, and acmake yourselves a new heart and a new spirit! adWhy will you die, O house of Israel? 32 aeFor I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Lord God; afso turn, and live.”

Daniel 9:6-14

6 agWe have not listened to ahyour servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to aiour kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. 7To you, ajO Lord, belongs righteousness, but to us open shame, as at this day, to the men of Judah, to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to all Israel, akthose who are near and althose who are far away, in amall the lands to which you have driven them, because of anthe treachery that they have committed against you. 8To us, O Lord, belongs open shame, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because aowe have sinned against you. 9 apTo the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness, for we have rebelled against him 10 aqand have not obeyed the voice of the Lord our God by walking in his laws, which he set before us by arhis servants the prophets. 11 asAll Israel has transgressed your law and turned aside, atrefusing to obey your voice. auAnd the curse and oath avthat are written in the Law of awMoses the servant of God have been poured out upon us, because axwe have sinned against him. 12He has confirmed his words, which he spoke against us and against ayour rulers who ruled us,
Or  our judges who judged us
by babringing upon us a great calamity. bbFor under the whole heaven there has not been done anything like what has been done against Jerusalem.
13 bcAs it is written in the Law of Moses, all this calamity has come upon us; yet we have not entreated the favor of the Lord our God, bdturning from our iniquities and gaining insight by your truth. 14 beTherefore the Lord has kept ready the calamity and has brought it upon us, bffor the Lord our God is righteous in all the works that he has done, and bgwe have not obeyed his voice.

Zechariah 1:3-6

3Therefore say to them, Thus declares the Lord of hosts: bhReturn to me, says the Lord of hosts, and biI will return to you, says the Lord of hosts. 4 bjDo not be like your fathers, bkto whom the former prophets cried out, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, blReturn from your evil ways and from your evil deeds.’ But bmthey did not hear or pay attention to me, declares the Lord. 5Your fathers, where are they? And bnthe prophets, do they live forever? 6 boBut my words and my statutes, which I commanded bpmy servants the prophets, did they not bqovertake your fathers? So they repented and said, br‘As the Lord of hosts purposed to deal with us for bsour ways and btdeeds, so has he dealt with us.’”
