Isaiah 16:3-5

3 Give counsel;
grant justice;
cmake your shade like night
at the height of noon;
shelter the outcasts;
do not reveal the fugitive;
4let dthe outcasts of Moab
sojourn among you;
be a shelter to them
Some Hebrew manuscripts, Septuagint, Syriac; Masoretic Text  let my outcasts sojourn among you; as for Moab, be a shelter to them

from the destroyer.
When the oppressor is no more,
and destruction has ceased,
and he who tramples underfoot has vanished from the land,
5 fthen a throne will be established in steadfast love,
and on it will sit in faithfulness
in the tent of David
one who judges and seeks justice
and is swift to do righteousness.”

Isaiah 31:1-2

Woe to Those Who Go Down to Egypt

1 Woe to gthose who go down to Egypt for help
and rely on horses,
who htrust in chariots because they are many
and in horsemen because they are very strong,
but ido not look to the Holy One of Israel
or consult the Lord!
2And jyet he is wise and brings disaster;
khe does not call back his words,
but lwill arise against the house of the evildoers
and against the helpers of mthose who work iniquity.

Zechariah 7:9-11

9Thus says the Lord of hosts, nRender true judgments, show kindness and mercy to one another, 10 odo not oppress the widow, the fatherless, the sojourner, por the poor, and qlet none of you devise evil against another in your heart.” 11But rthey refused to pay attention sand turned a stubborn shoulder and stopped their ears that they might not hear.
