23 Your princes are rebels
and companions of thieves.
Everyone ^cloves a bribe
and runs after gifts.
^dThey do not bring justice to the fatherless,
and the widow’s cause does not come to them.

Jeremiah 5:28

28 ^ethey have grown fat and sleek.
They know no bounds in deeds of evil;
^fthey judge not with justice
the cause of the fatherless, to make it prosper,
and they do not defend the rights of the needy.

Jeremiah 7:5-7

5 “For if you truly ^gamend your ways and your deeds, if you truly ^hexecute justice one with another, 6 if you ⁱdo not oppress the sojourner, the fatherless, or the widow, ^jor shed innocent blood in this place, ^kand if you do not go after other gods to your own harm, 7 ^lthen I will let you dwell in this place, ^min the land that I gave of old to your fathers forever.

Jeremiah 21:12

12 O house of David! Thus says the Lord:

ⁿ“‘Execute justice ^oin the morning,
and deliver from the hand of the oppressor
him who has been robbed,
^plest my wrath go forth like fire,
and burn with none to quench it,
because of your evil deeds.’”

Jeremiah 22:3

3 Thus says the Lord: ^qDo justice and righteousness, and deliver from the hand of the oppressor him who has been robbed. And ^rdo no wrong or violence ^sto the resident alien, ^tthe fatherless, and the widow, nor ^ushed innocent blood in this place.

Amos 5:14-15

14 ^vSeek good, and not evil,
that you may live;
and so the Lord, ^wthe God of hosts, will be with you,
as you have said.
15 ^xHate evil, and love good,
and establish justice ^yin the gate;
^zit may be that the Lord, the God of hosts,
will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph.

Amos 5:24
