12When he had washed their feet and uput on his outer garments and resumed his place, he said to them, v“Do you understand what I have done to you? 13 wYou call me xTeacher and Lord, and you are right, for so I am. 14If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, yyou also ought to wash one another’s feet.

1 Corinthians 6:11

11And zsuch were some of you. But aayou were washed, abyou were sanctified, acyou were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Ephesians 5:26-27
