Isaiah 1:19-20

19 aIf you are willing and obedient,
you shall eat the good of the land;
20but if you refuse and rebel,
you shall be eaten by the sword;
bfor the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

Jeremiah 6:16-17

16 Thus says the Lord:
Stand by the roads, and look,
and ask for cthe ancient paths,
where the good way is; and walk in it,
dand find rest for your souls.
But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’
17 eI set watchmen over you, saying,
‘Pay attention to fthe sound of the trumpet!’
But they said, g‘We will not pay attention.’

Jeremiah 7:24

24 hBut they did not obey or incline their ear, ibut walked in their own counsels and jthe stubbornness of their evil hearts, and kwent backward and not forward.

Jeremiah 35:15

15I have sent to you all my servants the prophets, sending them spersistently, saying, tTurn now every one of you from his evil way, and amend your deeds, and udo not go after other gods to serve them, and then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to you and your fathers.’ vBut you did not incline your ear or listen to me.

Jeremiah 36:31

31 wAnd I will punish him and his offspring and his servants for their iniquity. I will bring upon them and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem and upon the people of Judah all the disaster that I have pronounced against them, but they would not hear.’”

Jeremiah 44:16

16“As for the word that you have spoken to us in the name of the Lord, xwe will not listen to you.
