26And I will restore your judges aas at the first,
and your counselors as at the beginning.

dthey shall possess the land forever,
ethe branch of my planting, the work of my hands,
that I might be glorified.
Or  that I might display my beauty

Jeremiah 23:5-8

5 gBehold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will raise up for David a righteous hBranch, and ihe shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land. 6In his days Judah will be saved, and jIsrael will kdwell securely. And this is the name by which he will be called: l‘The Lord is our righteousness.’

7 mTherefore, behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when they shall no longer say, ‘As the Lord lives who brought up the people of Israel out of the land of Egypt,’ 8but ‘As the Lord lives who brought up and led the offspring of the house of Israel out of the north country and out of all the countries where he
Septuagint; Hebrew I
had driven them.’ Then they shall dwell in their own land.”

Jeremiah 33:15-26

15In those days and at that time I will cause a righteous oBranch to spring up for David, and he shall execute justice and righteousness in the land. 16In those days Judah will be saved, pand Jerusalem will dwell securely. And this is the name by which it will be called: q‘The Lord is our righteousness.’

17For thus says the Lord: rDavid shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel, 18 sand the Levitical priests shall never lack a man in my presence to offer burnt offerings, to burn grain offerings, and to make sacrifices forever.”

19The word of the Lord came to Jeremiah: 20 tThus says the Lord: uIf you can break my covenant with the day and my covenant with the night, vso that day and night will not come at their appointed time, 21 wthen also my covenant with David my servant may be broken, so that he shall not have a son to reign on his throne, and my covenant with the Levitical priests my ministers. 22As xthe host of heaven cannot be numbered and ythe sands of the sea cannot be measured, so I will multiply the offspring of David my servant, and the Levitical priests who minister to me.”

23The word of the Lord came to Jeremiah: 24“Have you not observed that these people are saying, ‘The Lord has rejected the two clans that he chose’? Thus they have despised my people so that they are no longer a nation in their sight. 25Thus says the Lord: zIf I have not established my covenant with day and night and the fixed order of heaven and earth, 26then I will reject the offspring of Jacob and David my servant and will not choose one of his offspring to rule over the offspring of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. aaFor I will restore their fortunes and will have mercy on them.”

Zechariah 8:3

3Thus says the Lord: abI have returned to Zion and acwill dwell in the midst of Jerusalem, adand Jerusalem shall be called the faithful city, aeand the mountain of the Lord of hosts, the holy mountain.
