Isaiah 1:26

26And I will restore your judges aas at the first,
and your counselors as at the beginning.
Afterward byou shall be called the city of righteousness,
the faithful city.”

Malachi 3:3-4

3He will sit cas a refiner and purifier of silver, and he will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver, and they will bring dofferings in righteousness to the Lord.
Or and they will belong to the Lord, bringers of an offering in righteousness
4 fThen the offering of Judah and Jerusalem will be pleasing to the Lord as in the days of old and as in former years.

Malachi 4:5-6

5 gBehold, I will send you hElijah the prophet ibefore the great and awesome day of the Lord comes. 6And he will jturn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers, lest I come and kstrike the land with a decree of utter destruction.”
The Hebrew term rendered  decree of utter destruction refers to things devoted (or set apart) to the Lord (or by the Lord) for destruction


Matthew 17:11-12

11He answered, Elijah does come, and mhe will restore all things. 12But I tell you that Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but ndid to him whatever they pleased. oSo also the Son of Man will certainly suffer at their hands.”

Mark 9:11-13

11And they asked him, “Why do the scribes say pthat first Elijah must come?” 12And he said to them, Elijah does come first qto restore all things. And rhow is it written of the Son of Man that he should ssuffer many things and tbe treated with contempt? 13But I tell you that Elijah has come, and uthey did to him whatever they pleased, as it is written of him.”
