Isaiah 1:31

31And the strong shall become atinder,
and his work a spark,
and both of them shall burn together,
with bnone to quench them.

Jeremiah 4:4

4 cCircumcise yourselves to the Lord;
remove the foreskin of your hearts,
O men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem;
dlest my wrath go forth like fire,
and burn with none to quench it,
ebecause of the evil of your deeds.”

Jeremiah 7:20

20Therefore thus says the Lord God: Behold, fmy anger and my wrath will be poured out on this place, upon man and beast, upon the trees of the field and the fruit of the ground; git will burn and not be quenched.”

Ezekiel 20:47-48

47Say to the forest of the Negeb, Hear the word of the Lord: Thus says the Lord God, Behold, hI will kindle a fire in you, and it shall devour every igreen tree in you and every jdry tree. The blazing flame shall not be quenched, and kall faces from south to north shall be scorched by it. 48 lAll flesh shall see that I the Lord have kindled it; it shall not be quenched.”

Mark 9:43-48

43 mAnd if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than with two hands to go to nhell,

to pthe unquenchable fire.
Some manuscripts add verses 44 and 46 (which are identical with verse 48)
45 rAnd if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame than with two feet to be thrown into shell. 47 tAnd if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into uhell, 48where vtheir worm does not die and the fire is not quenched.’
