Isaiah 1:5-6

5 Why will you still be astruck down?
Why will you bcontinue to rebel?
The whole head is sick,
and the whole heart faint.
6 cFrom the sole of the foot even to the head,
there is no soundness in it,
but bruises and sores
and raw wounds;
they are dnot pressed out or bound up
or softened with oil.

Jeremiah 15:18

18Why is my pain unceasing,
emy wound incurable,
refusing to be healed?
Will you be to me flike a deceitful brook,
like waters that fail?

Jeremiah 30:11-15

11 gFor I am with you to save you,

declares the Lord;
hI will make a full end of all the nations
among whom I scattered you,
but of you I will not make a full end.
iI will jdiscipline you in just measure,
and I will by no means leave you unpunished.
12 For thus says the Lord:
kYour hurt is incurable,
land your wound is grievous.
13There is none to uphold your cause,
no medicine for your wound,
mno healing for you.
14 nAll your lovers have forgotten you;
they care nothing for you;
for I have dealt you the blow of oan enemy,
the punishment pof a merciless foe,
because your guilt is great,
qbecause your sins are flagrant.
15 rWhy do you cry out over your hurt?
sYour pain is incurable.
Because your guilt is great,
tbecause your sins are flagrant,
I have done these things to you.
