Isaiah 1:9

Isaiah 6:13

it will be burned

like a terebinth or an oak,
whose stump gremains

Isaiah 65:8-9

8 Thus says the Lord:

and from Judah possessors of my mountains;

Zechariah 13:8-9

8In the whole land, declares the Lord,
two thirds shall be cut off and perish,

9And nI will put this third into the fire,
and refine them as one refines silver,
and test them as gold is tested.
oThey will call upon my name,
and pI will answer them.
qI will say, ‘They are my people’;

Matthew 24:22

22And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for rthe sake of the elect those days will be cut short.

Romans 11:5-7

Romans 11:23-24

23And weven they, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God has the power to graft them in again. 24For if you were cut from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and grafted, contrary to nature, into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, the natural branches, be grafted back into their own olive tree.
