Isaiah 10:10-11

10 As my hand has reached to ^athe kingdoms of the idols,
whose carved images were greater than those of Jerusalem and Samaria,
11 shall I not do to Jerusalem and ^bher idols
^cas I have done to Samaria and her images?”

Hosea 10:1-2

1 ^dIsrael is a luxuriant vine
that yields its fruit.
The more his fruit increased,
^ethe more altars he built;
as his country improved,
he improved his pillars.
2 Their heart is false;
now they must bear their guilt.
The Lord ^{▼▼Hebrew He} will break down their altars
and destroy their pillars.

Hosea 10:8

8 The high places of ^gAven, ^hthe sin of Israel,
shall be destroyed.
ⁱThorn and thistle shall grow up
on their altars,
