Isaiah 10:18-19

18The glory of ahis forest and of his bfruitful land
the Lord will destroy, both soul and body,
and it will be as when a sick man wastes away.
19The remnant of the trees of his forest will be so few
that a child can write them down.

Isaiah 27:10-11

10 cFor the fortified city is solitary,
a habitation deserted and forsaken, like the wilderness;
there the calf grazes;
there it lies down and strips its branches.
11When its boughs are dry, they are broken;
women come and make a fire of them.
dFor this is a people without discernment;
therefore he who made them will not have compassion on them;
he who formed them will show them no favor.

Isaiah 37:24

24By your servants you have mocked the Lord,
and you have said, eWith my many chariots
I have gone up the heights of the mountains,
to the far recesses of Lebanon,
fto cut down its tallest cedars,
its choicest cypresses,
to come to its remotest height,
its most fruitful forest.

Jeremiah 22:7

7 gI will prepare destroyers against you,
each with his weapons,
hand they shall cut down your choicest cedars
and cast them into the fire.

Ezekiel 20:46-48

46 iSon of man, jset your face toward the southland;
Or  toward Teman
lpreach against the south, and prophesy against the forest land in the Negeb.
47Say to the forest of the Negeb, Hear the word of the Lord: Thus says the Lord God, Behold, mI will kindle a fire in you, and it shall devour every ngreen tree in you and every odry tree. The blazing flame shall not be quenched, and pall faces from south to north shall be scorched by it. 48 qAll flesh shall see that I the Lord have kindled it; it shall not be quenched.”

Zechariah 11:1
