Isaiah 10:3

3What will you do on athe day of punishment,
in the ruin that will come bfrom afar?
To whom will you flee for help,
and where will you leave your wealth?

Jeremiah 10:15

15They are worthless, a work of delusion;
at the time of their punishment they shall perish.

Ezekiel 7:2-7

Behold, it comes.
6 rAn end has come; the end has come; it has awakened against you. Behold, it comes. 7 sYour doom
The meaning of the Hebrew word is uncertain; also verse 10
has come to you, O inhabitant of the land. uThe time has come; the day is near, a day of tumult, and not vof joyful shouting on the mountains.

Ezekiel 12:22-28

22Son of man, wwhat is this proverb that you
The Hebrew for  you is plural
have about the land of Israel, saying, y‘The days grow long, and every vision comes to nothing’?
23Tell them therefore, ‘Thus says the Lord God: I will put an end to this proverb, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel.’ But say to them, zThe days are near, and the fulfillment

24 abFor there shall be no more any acfalse vision or flattering divination within the house of Israel. 25For I am the Lord; I will speak adthe word that I will speak, and it will be performed. aeIt will no longer be delayed, but in your days, afO rebellious house, I will speak the word and perform it, declares the Lord God.”

26And the word of the Lord came to me: 27Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, ag‘The vision that he sees is ahfor many days from now, and he prophesies of times far off.’ 28Therefore say to them, Thus says the Lord God: aiNone of my words will be delayed any longer, ajbut the word that I speak will be performed, declares the Lord God.”

Amos 8:2

2And he said, akAmos, what do you see?” And I said, al“A basket of summer fruit.” Then the Lord said to me,

has come upon my people Israel;
I will never again pass by them.
