Isaiah 10:33-34
33 Behold, the Lord God of hostsawill lop bthe boughs with terrifying power;
the great in height will be hewn down,
and the lofty will be brought low.
34He will cut down cthe thickets of the forest with an axe,
and dLebanon will fall by the Majestic One.
Ezekiel 15:2-4
2 e“Son of man, how does fthe wood of the vine surpass any wood, the vine branch that is among the trees of the forest? 3Is wood taken from it to make anything? Do people take ga peg from it to hang any vessel on it? 4 hBehold, it is given to the fire for fuel. Daniel 4:14
