Isaiah 10:8-15

8for he says:
a“Are not my commanders all kings?
9 bIs not cCalno like dCarchemish?
Is not eHamath like fArpad?
gIs not hSamaria like Damascus?
10As my hand has reached to ithe kingdoms of the idols,
whose carved images were greater than those of Jerusalem and Samaria,
11shall I not do to Jerusalem and jher idols
kas I have done to Samaria and her images?”
12 lWhen the Lord has finished all his work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, mhe
Hebrew I
will punish the speech of the arrogant heart of the king of Assyria and the boastful look in his eyes.
13 oFor he says:

“By the strength of my hand I have done it,
and by my wisdom, for I have understanding;
I remove the boundaries of peoples,
and plunder their treasures;
like a bull I bring down those who sit on thrones.
14My hand has found like a nest
the wealth of the peoples;
and as one gathers eggs that have been forsaken,
so I have gathered all the earth;
and there was none that moved a wing
or opened the mouth or chirped.”
15 Shall pthe axe boast over him who hews with it,
or the saw magnify itself against him who wields it?
As if a rod should wield him who lifts it,
or as if a staff should lift him who is not wood!

Isaiah 10:32-34

32This very day he will halt at qNob;
he will shake his fist
at the mount of rthe daughter of Zion,
the hill of Jerusalem.
33 Behold, the Lord God of hosts
swill lop tthe boughs with terrifying power;
the great in height will be hewn down,
and the lofty will be brought low.
34He will cut down uthe thickets of the forest with an axe,
and vLebanon will fall by the Majestic One.

Isaiah 13:11

11I will punish wthe world for its evil,
and the wicked for their iniquity;
I will xput an end to the pomp of the arrogant,
yand lay low the pompous pride of the ruthless.

Isaiah 14:10-16

10 zAll of them will answer
and say to you:
You too have become as weak as we!
You have become like us!’
11Your pomp is brought down to Sheol,
the sound of your harps;
maggots are laid as a bed beneath you,
and worms are your covers.
12 How aayou are fallen from heaven,
O Day Star, abson of Dawn!
How you are cut down to the ground,
you who laid the nations low!
13You said in your heart,
ac‘I will ascend to heaven;
above the stars of God
adI will set my throne on high;
I will sit on the mount of assembly
in the far reaches of the north;
Or  in the remote parts of Zaphon

14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds;
I will make myself like the Most High.’
15 afBut you are brought down to Sheol,
to the far reaches of the pit.
16Those who see you will stare at you
and ponder over you:
‘Is this agthe man who made the earth tremble,
who shook kingdoms,

Isaiah 17:12-14

12 Ah, ahthe thunder of many peoples;
they thunder like the thundering of the sea!
Ah, the roar of nations;
they roar like the roaring of mighty waters!
13 aiThe nations roar like the roaring of many waters,
ajbut he will rebuke them, and they will flee far away,
chased aklike chaff on the mountains before the wind
and alwhirling dust before the storm.
14 amAt evening time, behold, terror!
Before morning, they are no more!
This is the portion of those who loot us,
and the lot of those who plunder us.

Isaiah 30:30-33

30And the Lord anwill cause his majestic voice to be heard and the descending blow of his arm to be seen, in furious anger aoand a flame of devouring fire, with a cloudburst apand storm and hailstones. 31The Assyrians will be terror-stricken at the voice of the Lord, aqwhen he strikes with his rod. 32And every stroke of the appointed staff that the Lord lays on them arwill be to the sound of tambourines and lyres. asBattling with brandished arm, he will fight with them. 33For ata burning place
Or  For Topheth
has long been prepared; indeed, for the king it is made ready, avits pyre made deep and wide, with fire and wood in abundance; awthe breath of the Lord, like a stream of sulfur, kindles it.

Isaiah 49:25-26

25For thus says the Lord:
axEven the captives of the mighty shall be taken,
and the prey of the tyrant be rescued,
for I will contend with those who contend with you,
and I will save your children.
26 ayI will make your oppressors eat their own flesh,
and they shall be drunk azwith their own blood as with wine.
Then all flesh shall know
that baI am the Lord your Savior,
and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.”
